Challenge:
The task was to create a striking logo and visual identity to represent a football tour hosted by none other than Brazilian football icon Ronaldinho. Coined the 'Joga Bonito' tour (translated to The Beautiful Game), the identity needed to reflect the exuberance, passion, and personality of Ronaldinho while incorporating the vibrant spirit of Brazilian football.
The visual identity also had to remain clean and recognisable for the Australian market. A key challenge was ensuring that the logo and supporting elements were flexible enough to be applied across various media – from signage and merchandise to social media content and event collateral.

The final deliverables included a cohesive brand identity with the following elements:
Logo Design:
The logo features a bold silhouette of Ronaldinho in side profile, complete with his signature headband and flowing hair. This instantly recognisable visual became the core icon for the tour’s identity.
Colour Palette:
We utilised Brazil’s iconic green, yellow, and blue to evoke a sense of national pride and energy, ensuring that the logo would be instantly recognisable on an international level.
Custom Typography:
A bespoke, playful free-hand font was developed to reflect Ronaldinho's lively personality and the carefree nature of Joga Bonito. This added a unique and personal touch to the design, further bringing the identity to life.
Modular Subgraphics:
We created a vibrant, playful pattern inspired by Brazilian culture to serve as a subgraphic element. This pattern was designed to be modular, meaning it could be cropped and repositioned for different applications, making it a flexible backdrop for signage, merchandise, and promotional material.
