Challenge:
South Sydney partnered with SDA to address their internal resource challenges to deliver a fresh visual identity for their 2024 Membership campaign. The branding needed to not only resonate with their fans but also amplify the clubs iconic history and legacy.
Solution:
SDA underwent a process of creating a number of design concepts that would represent the South Sydney brand across a number of products. The approved design needed to be flexible enough to work across a portfolio of members' assets, ranging from hats to keyrings and calendars.
1. Initial Concept Development:
- Created three distinct design concepts
- Each concept featured a unique lockup, including secondary and additional outputs.
- The club selected their favourite design for further refinement.
2. Execution and Product Rollout:
- Managed the design and production of over 30 custom membership products.
- Range of products included caps, shirts
Outcome:
The membership catalogue consisted of over 30 different products for South Sydney’s members in 2024. The products all contained a version of the approved concept and logo that was designed by the Sport Design Australia team.
